Yuan Meng, a male giant panda, was born on August 4, 2017, at the Beauval Wildlife Park in France. He is the first panda ever born in France. His parents are Huan Huan and Yuan Zi, giant pandas now live in France. The First Lady of France, Brigitte Macron, is Yuan Meng’s godmother.
On July 26, 2023, Yuan Meng returned to China alone and is now at the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding.
