Fu Feng, a female giant panda, with a studbook number of 1026, was born on August 7, 2016, at the Schönbrunn Zoo in Vienna, Austria. Her parents are the giant pandas Yang Yang and Long Hui, and her twin brother is “Fu Ban.”
Fu Feng and Fu Ban are the first and only pair of twins in the world to be successfully reared by their captive-bred giant panda mother.
On December 4, 2018, Fu Feng and her brother Fu Ban returned to China together. They currently reside at the Wolong Shenshuping Base of the China Conservation and Research Center for the Giant Panda.
